Kim Gentry has over twenty years experience working with children. In her younger years, she spent her summers in Mississippi working for a local Girl Scout camp. She attended Northeast Mississippi Community College, where she had a scholarship for dance in the athletic department. She also attended Appalachian State University in the inter-disciplinary studies department with a concentration in environmental experiential education. While in North Carolina, Kim took Appalachian clogging/flat footing classes, which eventually led her to become part of the famous Green Grass Cloggers dance team. When working with children, Kim incorporates different dance styles and educational standards to help children learn. Kim has worked many years as a professional nanny to numerous families in Denver, Colorado and Asheville, North Carolina. In 2019, Kim received a kids yoga certification from Kidding Around Yoga (KAY) company based out of Florida. Kim has taught kids yoga/movement as far as Puerto Morelas, Mexico. She has also taught movement arts in many different school settings. Kim is trained in a Kids yoga style that incorporates art, music, and games to create well rounded classes. In her free time, Kim loves hiking, camping, dancing, photography, and traveling.
